Thornbury Golf Club - Captains' Drive-In

After a very enjoyable 9 hole, three club challenge, the new Club Captains, Gail Howells, Lee Richards and Junior Captain Jake Barton drove off on the 4th tee with a crowd of extremely enthusiastic supporters cheering them on.   They all drove some considerable distances and all managed to land on the fairway.

The sponsorship money raised through guessing the distances driven will be going to BUST, which has been chosen as their charity of the year.  

The ladies section has raised over £300 so far so well done to all concerned!

We wish all three captains good luck in their year of office and look forward to following your events throughout the coming year.
